ROVIGO – Pre-Championship friendly for FemiCz Rugby Rovigo Delta coach Giazzon, who after the joint training with Verona Rugby and the family challenge between Rossi vs Blu, will host Fiamme Oro Rugby for a first match. The match is scheduled for Friday 6 September at 18:00 and for the occasion only the West Stand will be open.
The referee will be Mr. Richard Bonatoassisted by the linesmen Filippo Vinci and Gilberto Fracaso.
“The Fiamme Oro are an opponent that makes physicality its strong point – he comments David Giazzon – also counting on many experienced players. They have already faced a first match against the Wolves, last week, winning by a wide margin, so they have gained confidence in the game. Our goal is to gain more confidence with our game structures and to be able to understand where we are physically, both in terms of impacts and athleticism.”

Teneggi: continues rehabilitation for a knee problem. Fisher: is finishing rehabilitation after a muscle injury. On foot: continues rehabilitation for shoulder trauma. Zottola: he is undergoing a course of therapy for back pain. A third of the squad will be missing.
“The one in Rovigo will certainly be a more challenging test than last week’s: a tough match awaits us with a team that is organised in all departments, very good at winning and defending – declared coach Cremisi Daniele Forcucci – It will be a great challenge both from an individual point of view, regarding collisions, and collectively. We all have to take a step forward and improve compared to the match with the Wolves, especially in the meeting points. We will have the opportunity to test the players who did not play the match in L’Aquila and to have, after this match, a more equal playing time for all the players, to then choose the best ones for the match on September 21st in Padua”.
