Improvement of the business climate: Completion of 44% of the initiatives of the 2023-2026 roadmap (Mr. Jazouli)
Rabat – The Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mohcine Jazouli, indicated, Monday, during the oral questions session in the House of Representatives, that 44% of the initiatives of the strategic roadmap aimed at improving the business environment for the period 2023-2026 have been achieved.
Responding to a question on improving the investment climate at the regional level, posed by the Authenticity and Modernity group, the minister specified that these initiatives include the acceleration of the simplification of administrative procedures, the consolidation of transparency at all the stages of submitting to public contracts, determining payment deadlines, and creating businesses electronically.
Mr. Jazouli added that the government has put in place coordination mechanisms for improving the business climate at the territorial level, by mobilizing all players in the investment ecosystem in order to find solutions adapted to specificities of each project.
He also affirmed that the new approach on which the government is working to strengthen the role of Regional Investment Centers (CRI) will contribute to improving the business climate at the regional level, stressing that these centers are developing electronic platforms relating to the business climate. investment and the specificities of the regions.
