The drawback is that the sudden change in the IMSS profile photo It has caused various theories and ridicule from users. Some affirm that the mourning is for the entities of Coahuila and the State of Mexico due to the results of the recent elections.

For their part, others consider that the sadness is due to the disappearance of the Institute of Health for Well-being (Insabi) and its transformation into the IMSS Wellness.

There are also those who say that everything is due to the proposal to disappear 35 Official Mexican Standards (NOM) related to medical care. Just a few days ago, the Undersecretary of Health, Hugo López-Gatell, presented this initiative. In his words, there is no other country in the world that has so many documents of this type and he stressed that many are not necessary for proper patient care.

Others even say that the mourning is for the “death” of the public health system. They also mention that due to the delay in waiting times, Social Security passed away a long time ago.
