IMSS elevator failure, where did it occur?
Beyond the waiting time to enter the office, part of the annoyance of the beneficiaries is generated by the state in which the patients are located. hospitals and clinics. One constant is the dirt in the units and they don’t even have basic aspects such as paper in the bathrooms.
But an even more serious problem that has increased in recent months is the constant failure in the elevators. It has occurred in units of the main institutions and throughout the country.
The most recent case occurred in IMSS Cardiology Hospital No. 34 in Monterrey, Nuevo León. According to testimonies, the incident occurred during the night of November 8.
Based on the testimonies, a camillero suffered the IMSS elevator failure because when he was about to enter the doors closed suddenly. The mechanisms to protect users were not activated and the result was a pressed stretcher that is now unusable.
Fortunately in this case there were no human lives to regret but if the camillero If he had been a couple of steps ahead, the result would have been different because he could have been crushed by the doors.
The event immediately attracted attention and several workers and patients who were at the scene have shared photos and videos of the event.

Until now the IMSS has not offered an explanation for the elevator failure. Although on previous occasions when similar events occurred, it has insisted that the supplier in charge of maintaining the units is responsible.

From that moment on, an investigation was ordered to clarify the facts and prevent more incidents of this type from occurring. Unfortunately, despite the words, the reality has been different because the imperfections have remained.
