Mexico City.- The retired people of Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS)you have the right to apply for a loan as one of your benefits.
This request can be made on account of the pension with any bank or financial entity that has an agreement with the IMSS.
The request can be made from My Digital Pension Then start with the “Your easy and safe loan” service to choose the financial institution to whom you will request it.
Older adults who submit the loan application will have the option of paying it with monthly installments that will be deducted from the pension, its term must not exceed 60 months and you must consult the conditions established by the financial institution before requesting it.
Loans range from 5,000 to 20,000 pesos to meet the monthly payment and pay off the debt, nor should the charge exceed more than 30% of the monthly pension.
What requirements must I submit to apply for the loan?
The process is done in person and you must present the following documents:
- official identification
- IMSS documents
- Current IMSS pension
- Account status
When the loan is approved, you receive it in the same account in which you receive your pension.
