In 2021, Amazon made a record turnover of 9 billion euros in France

Amazon shines. The American platform achieved record turnover in France in 2021, 9 billion euros, up 23% compared to the previous year (7.3 billion euros). This performance corresponds to sales made by the group itself as well as commissions deducted from sales made by third-party sellers on its online marketplace. This “marketplace” represents 55% of total sales. Cloud activity via AWS (Amazon Web Services) also counts in revenue.
