The U-20 beat Ferroviária 3-2 this Friday (10), at CFA Laudo Natel, in Cotia, in the first game of the semi-finals of the Campeonato Paulista in the category. Tricolor ended up losing by two goals, but, with William Gomes (2) and Talles Wander, they looked for a reaction.

São Paulo started the first half well, but conceded a goal in the 10th minute after a ball hit inside the box. Tricolor pressed in search of a draw, taking chances with medium-range shots. However, at 31, he scored the second goal with a shot in the corner.

The second stage was dominated by #MadeinCotia, who stifled their opponents from the start, overcoming the heavy rain that fell during the break. At 13 minutes, with the participation of Igor and William Gomes, who moved up from the Under-17s, the team opened the scoring. Igor started the play by playing to Palmberg, who found Caio free on the right of the attack. The attacker invaded the area and crossed low, the ball stopped lovingly in the puddle for William to arrive, hitting firmly towards the bottom of the goal.

Tricolor continued to press and reached a draw with Talles Wander in the 38th minute, heading in after a cross from Luiz Henrique. Already at 48, William’s star shone again. The number 17 took advantage of the surplus inside the area to fill his shoes and declare São Paulo’s victory.

The return match will take place at Fonte Luminosa, in Araraquara, next Friday (10), at 3 pm (Brasília time).
