/ The Jordanian national team qualified today, Friday, for the semi-finals of the Asian Cup for the first time in its history after defeating Tajikistan by a single goal to none in the start of the quarter-final matches of the Asian Football Cup.
The match took place at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium at 2:30 pm on Friday.
The first half ended in a goalless draw.
In the second half, the Jordanian team scored its goal due to a mistake by Tajikistan’s defense, Hanonov, who put the ball into his team’s net in the 66th minute of the match.
Today, Friday, the tournament will witness, within the same competitions, a fiery confrontation of heavy caliber between South Korea and Australia, at 6:30 pm at Al Janoub Stadium.
