Federal deputy for Paraná, national president of the Workers’ Party,
Gleisi Hoffmann reacted in a threatening tone against the former first lady of Brazil, Michelle Bolsonaro, after she spoke out critically against the nomination of senator Flávio Dino for a vacancy on the Federal Supreme Court, the STF.
On social media, Michelle called Dino a “communist”, in reference to his affiliation with the Communist Party of Brazil. The current Minister of Justice was appointed to the STF by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
“If he is a communist, he is against Christian values and principles, because communism is what persecuted Christians the most,” commented Michelle. The PT president, in turn, accused the former first lady, who is a member of the Attitude Baptist Church, of manipulating people’s faith.
“What morality does Bolsonaro’s wife, a genocidal, sexist president, who doesn’t like women, have to attack Lula and talk about Dino?”, asked Gleisi on X, the former Twitter, imputing the crime of genocide to the ex- President.
The PT member added: “The receptionist of Queiroz rachadinha and Mauro Cid, jewelry negotiator, has a lot to explain, starting with the manipulation of people’s beliefs and faith that she does.”
Michelle responds
In response to Gleisi’s publication, Michelle Bolsonaro accused the PT president of acting lightly, making supposedly unproven accusations against her and the former president of the Republic.
“Wow, so much bile! With such serious accusations, there must be proof… it’s good that there is… otherwise, it would be frivolous,” she commented on Instagram, according to The globe.
National president of PL Mulher, Michelle has been increasingly active on social media and at political events, which has also aroused greater reaction from her opponents who, next year, will contest new elections.
