In Afghanistan, hundreds of empty buildings and shops have been converted into mosques for public prayer.
At the same time, 400 loudspeakers have been installed across the capital, Kabul, to call everyone to prayer.
Also, the country’s Ministry of Virtue has ordered shops to be closed during special prayers on Friday.
