In Beijing, banners hostile to Xi Jinping hung on a bridge

With smoke billowing from unidentified objects burning on the deck, it was difficult to read what was written there.

The website Radio Free Asia tweets the words of the protester :

“No PCR test, to eat! No control, freedom! No lies, dignity! No cultural revolution, reform! No great leader, elections! Not to be a slave, but a citizen!”

On the right, another banner reads:

“Course strike, labor strike, down with the dictator and traitor to the nation Xi Jinping!”

Another tweet shows a blurry image of a man wearing a neon orange vest and helmet. site and indicates : “The man posed as a municipal construction worker and mingled with the other workers.”

Banners removed, social networks cleaned up

It is not known what happened to the protester, but the police intervened very quickly to dismantle these banners.

“All information about it has disappeared ‘inside the wall’”, écrit Radio Free Asia in another tweet, referring to the Chinese network locked down by censorship.

“Citizens and Internet users who have retransmitted [les photos] on WeChat groups entered the ‘forever excluded’ category within minutes.”
