The Department of Pharmaceutical Care at Irada Complex and Mental Health has launched the Psychological Services Department in Jeddah, an event (Saudi Pharmacist Day).
The event included an introductory program in which he explained the importance of the pharmacy profession and the important and prominent role that the pharmacist plays in society through working in pharmaceutical factories and hospitals, and contributing to the work of studies and research related to drug safety and the safety of drug use, as well as their effective contribution to reducing medication errors within health facilities. .
The event included an awareness campaign targeting reviewers entitled (Motherhood and Safety), through which psychotropic drugs that affect pregnancy were presented, responding to patients’ inquiries, helping them identify dangerous drugs during pregnancy, and the need to follow up with the specialist doctor to develop appropriate alternatives for the safety of the mother and her fetus.
The event concluded with the presentation of a printed awareness material to answer questions related to the safety of medicines during pregnancy (motherhood and safety).
