In Damascus, they claim: Israel attacked an empty structure with two missiles

by time news

This is perhaps one of the most intense months in terms of the amount and intensity of attacks attributed to Israel in Syria. Tonight (Tuesday) near midnight, reports were published from Syria of an Israeli attack in southern Damascus. According to the state television in the country, Israel launched two missiles from the Golan Heights to an “empty building” located south of the Syrian capital between midnight and 01:00 at night. According to reports, one of the missiles was intercepted and there were no casualties in the incident.

Israel does not take responsibility for any of the many attacks attributed to the Air Force and the IDF in recent weeks. In Syria, it is claimed that in the past month Israel has attacked no less than eight targets in the country.

The last time an attack in Syria was attributed to Israel was a week ago, when Arab media reported “vigilant activity” of Israeli aircraft near Beirut, an activity in which an Iranian missile depot that served as a weapons and precision missile factory in the city of Homs was attacked. So in Syria it was reported that two soldiers were wounded in the attack.

So what is the reason for the increased activity? It is estimated that the Iranians have stepped up their efforts to smuggle weapons through Syria to Hezbollah, in preparation for their continued establishment in the Middle East.
