Apparently, if you want to be beautiful, you have to suffer.
Düsseldorf – US Hollywood star Megan Fox (37, “Transformers”) has been named the “sexiest woman alive” several times. In an interview with BILD at the “Grand Opening” of the new practice premises of the Düsseldorf beauty doc Dr. Mehmet Atila (45), the actress did not mince words about how tough the beauty industry really is.
Friday evening just before 9 p.m.: All 300 VIP guests and many fans are waiting for Megan Fox. “It’s a compliment but also crazy pressure when the focus is always so on looks. I often need days off from people judging me like that. When I’m home, I wear sweatpants, read a book, and don’t wear makeup. I also do this to protect my skin because it’s just not good to wear make-up every day,” Megan Fox told BILD.
Questions about her various cosmetic procedures are not allowed that evening, even though her host is a plastic and cosmetic surgeon. But then she admits that she uses an anti-aging laser on her face: “The Morpheus laser helped me a lot, you have to be careful with it, it also hurts a lot, but it had a great effect on my skin .”

The mother of three boys takes her beauty routine very seriously, saying: “I can get ready in 45 minutes if I have to, but I prefer the full glam look, which takes me two hours.” Megan Fox doesn’t smoke , doesn’t drink alcohol, not even coffee – does she only live for your beauty?!

“I’m lucky that I’m naturally slim, so I don’t have a problem with that. But I definitely feel the pressure to look a certain way and always be photographed at the best angle. I must never have a bad hair day, let alone acne. I’m a girl, it happens every month that I get pimples. Things like that stress me out a lot,” she admits.

This also has an impact on the upbringing of their three small sons: “Unfortunately, our times are such that this beauty pressure has also reached boys. Bringing a child into this world is very difficult.”

Her tip for women who aspire to an acting career: “You have to keep your feet on the ground. You have to be spiritually strong and grounded because being in this industry spoils your beliefs about yourself. This world will try to take away any joy in life from you. I know that doesn’t sound great, but that’s what happens when you’re famous.”
