Sheree Spencera 43-year-old English woman, was sentenced to 4 years in prison after proving in court that she physically and psychologically mistreated her husband Richard Spencer during 20 years of coexistence.
The final decision was made by the Hull Crown Court and, according to the Daily Mail newspaper, the aggressor made her husband’s life a hell. She beat him hard several times a day. and launched verbal and humiliating attacks on him.
The Spencers’ marriage began in 2000. During the 20-year relationship they had three children and an episode of abuse that Richard dared to denounce in 2021.

“From September 2000 to June 2021, Sheree subjected me to hundreds of episodes of physical, mental and emotional abuse, perpetrated in a pattern of behavior that goes back more than 20 years, almost half my life,” Richard said.
The man assured that for years he tried to hide what was happening inside his home, but that he decided to denounce it since he could not bear more mistreatment and humiliation.

The man began to secretly record his wife’s humiliation and provided 43 photographs as evidence showing the mistreatment. The woman also forced him to stay away from his friends and family.
Judge Kate Rayfield handed down a sentence of four years in prison, calling the abuse suffered by Richard Spencer “the worst case of controlling and coercive behavior I have ever seen.”
