Central office for the repression of counterfeiting (OCRFM). Third floor of an austere building located in the heart of Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine). In the corridor which serves several offices, the display cases contain banknotes from different countries. The office logo adorns most of the walls. A tiger’s head, a tribute to Georges Clemenceau, founder of the “Brigades” in 1907, next to a coin press. Below, the year 1929 is inscribed, the date of the creation of the service, the oldest of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ).
