The Senate of the Republic approved a ruling that eliminates 13 of the 14 trusts of the Judicial power of the Federation (PJF), with a total value of 15 billion pesos. In addition, this opinion reformed articles of the Organic Law of the Judicial Branch of the Federation.
This project had already been endorsed by the Chamber of Deputies previously, which triggered protests by PJF workers in the streets of Mexico City and throughout the country.
With 68 votes in favor and 48 against, the reform was generally approved, which was described by the opposition as revenge, grudges and settling of accounts by the President against the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) because have been determined to be unconstitutional.

THE TRUSTS ELIMINATED INCLUDED THE ALLOCATIONS OF:
– Complementary Pensions for Retired Magistrates and Judges: $4,722 million 319 thousand 850.
