The rating of the Green Party, which is part of the ruling coalition in Germany, has fallen to 10.5%. This figure has become the lowest in the last six years, according to the results of a survey by the INSA sociological institute, Day.Az reports with reference to TASS.
According to these data, compared to the last similar poll conducted a week earlier, the Greens lost 0.5 percentage points (pp). Thus, their rating fell to 10.5% – the lowest level since April 2018, when it reached 10%. The ratings of other forces in the ruling coalition – the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD, 15%) and the Free Democratic Party (FDP, 5%) – remained unchanged.
The leading political force remains the opposition bloc of the Christian Democratic and Christian Social Unions (CDU/CSU), its rating has not changed and is 31%. Thus, a year before the next elections to the Bundestag (parliament), the conservative bloc has more support among voters than the three coalition parties combined.
Another opposition party, the Alternative for Germany (AfD), lost 1 percentage point, reaching 17%. Support for the Left Party rose by 0.5 percentage points, reaching 3.5%. The approval rating of the Sahra Wagenknecht Union for Reason and Justice (BSW), founded in January, remained the same at 9%.
The survey was conducted online by order of the newspaper Bild from 19 to 22 July among 2,010 participants. The statistical error was 2.5 percentage points.
