In the past few days, social media in Saudi Arabia has been buzzing with the news of the disappearance of a 5-year-old girl near the Grand Mosque in Mecca, amid a state of sadness and anger.
However, the security services in the Holy Capital managed to find her on Tuesday morning, as her father confirmed that she was in good health.
The story began when Ratel Asaad disappeared in Al-Shawkiyeh Walk last Saturday at 11:30 at night.
For her part, her mother confirmed that the girl was kidnapped by unknown persons who changed her features and cut her hair with the aim of kidnapping.
Security and popular alert
And when they found out that there was a security and popular alert and that the subject of her kidnapping had become a trend, they brought her to the sanctuary where she was found.
She also added that the child had been sleeping from the morning because she was tired because of crying and being with strangers, stressing that the family lived through difficult circumstances after her disappearance.
She indicated that the girl did not know where she was, but the security authorities were following up the case so that the kidnappers were arrested as quickly as possible.
