Days before the election, Lía Limón, candidate of the PRI, PAN, PRD alliance, has toured 125 neighborhoods of the Álvaro Obregón mayor’s office for which she seeks to be mayor.
“It has been a very beautiful and very intense campaign,” he said during the tour of Santa Rosa Xochiac and the Town of San Bartolo Ameyalco.
Likewise, he recognized that an issue that is very important to young people is the environment.
In Álvaro Obregón, 24% of the land is conservation and 7 canyon systems with 11 Environmental Value Areas are protected.
“Although these spaces are the direct responsibility of the federal and city governments, we will continue working to rescue our ravines. “We are going to continue cleaning the ravines with more allies, we are going to promote more sustainable practices and agreements for the recycling and reuse of materials,” he pointed out.
Additionally, he committed to addressing the issue of water, together with the government of Santiago Taboada, who is running for the CDMX Headquarters.
“I have invested in rainwater harvesting systems, I have installed 26 in housing units and 3 in schools. Much remains to be done and investment is needed in the hydraulic network to prevent water from being lost through leaks. I am going to get into that topic,” she stated.
