A bottle of hydrogen tied under the wing of an aerobatic plane, accompanied by a fuel cell, all shaken by phenomenal accelerations or dizzying descents… This is one of the unusual but very concrete examples of carbon-free aviation. The extraordinary test campaign was carried out discreetly in the first quarter of 2023 by the start-up Blue Spirit Aero (BSA), headquartered in Rueil-Malmaison (Hauts-de-Seine). Objective: the certification at the end of 2026 of a small hydrogen plane.
