2. D Natarajan
Natarajan of Tamil Nadu is a left-arm fast bowler. He made his debut in international cricket last year. He got off to a good start to his international career by taking 3 wickets in 1 Test against Australia, 3 wickets in 2 ODIs and 7 wickets in 4 T20Is. However, the “wound” that did not tolerate his monster growth chased him. Nuttu recovered from the injury with continuous efforts such as surgery and long rest.
The 31-year-old has been impressive in the current IPL season for Sunrisers Hyderabad, taking 18 wickets in 11 matches. However, the injury forced Natarajan to miss several international series as he underwent rehabilitation.
3. Washington Sundar
Tamil Nadu player Washington Sundar has shone as an all-rounder in the Indian team. Intimidating with spin and batting, he was a regular in the Indian T20 team. Last year he played 5 T20Is and 4 Tests for India. But, he did not play any T20 or Test match in 2022.
He is struggling to get a place in the Indian team due to injury and did not get a chance in last year’s T20 World Cup and this year’s T20 World Cup team. However, since 2017, Sundar has played in every Indian Premier League season, and in this year’s IPL, he has taken 6 wickets in 9 matches. He is currently undergoing training to recover from the injury at the Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
