In Italy, 10.7 million doses of vaccines have been administered

Time.news – There are approximately 10.7 million doses of vaccine against Covid-19 administered in Italy, 85.5% of the total of those delivered: 12,283,800 (in detail 8,704,800
Pfizer / BioNTech, 826,600 Modern and 2,752,400 AstraZeneca).

The administrations, carried out in 2,066 centers throughout the Peninsula, concerned 6.4 million women and 4.3 million men. 3.3 million people have received both doses. This is what we read in the online report of the extraordinary commissioner for the health emergency updated to 6.01 today.

The doses were administered to 3,035,414 health workers, 497,007 non-health personnel, 562,315 residents of residential structures, 3,529,840 over 80, 231,064 units of the armed forces, 1,033,902 units of school personnel; the item ‘other’ includes 1,612,299 people.

in the meantime over 1.3 million doses of AstraZeneca have arrived at the vaccination hub of the Defense of Pratica di Mare. According to what Time.news learns from sources of the emergency commissioner Figliuolo, with this arrival the vaccine deliveries planned for the first quarter of 2021 are concluded. The doses, it is explained, will be promptly distributed on the national territory with carriers of the Italian Post Office (SDA) and of the Defense.
