The Main Statistical Office of the Brest Region reports that in January-September 2023, foreign investors invested 194.9 million US dollars in the real sector of the region’s economy.
The main investors of regional organizations were business entities of the Russian Federation (51.1% of all incoming investments), Germany (25.8%), Poland (11%).
The inflow of foreign direct investment amounted to 170 million US dollars or 87.3% of all incoming foreign investment. In January-September 2023, organizations in the region allocated 705.8 million US dollars in investments abroad.
The bulk of investments by regional organizations were directed to business entities of the Russian Federation – 96% of all directed investments.
Direct investment accounted for 99.6% of all directed investments abroad.
