The Ministry of Justice announced in a statement that on July 20. When the 2024-2025 legislature begins, the first reform projects will be presented.
This was defined after the second meeting of the Commission of Experts for Justice Reform. Which was headed by Néstor Iván Osuna Patiño, Minister of Justice and Law.
At that meeting, the creation of five subcommittees was also defined to address the first issues related to the reform. Which are related to inclusive and diverse justice. Promote justice close to citizens, which promotes equality. Have specialized judges; and criminal and penitentiary matters, so that it is more agile and closer. And fulfill a resocializing role, all this will be in the month of July.
On the other hand, one more subcommittee is on procedural reforms and conflict resolution methods, that is, adjustments to the general code of the process and the administrative and labor procedure; and judicial reform, for the creation of more courts.
