In Kalmykia, five people died in a collision between a bus and a truck

In Kalmykia, there was a head-on collision between a Neoplan bus and a KamAZ. Five people died, seven were injured. The bus was traveling from Makhachkala to St. Petersburg.

The accident message was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations at 2:40, RIA Novosti reports. The accident occurred on the Astrakhan-Elista-Stavropol highway. A total of 28 passengers were traveling on the bus.

Four employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and one piece of equipment worked on the spot. They removed the injured and the dead.
