In the Kaluga region, special teams will be formed to visit patients at home. Such an order was given at a meeting of the operational headquarters on Tuesday, October 12, by Deputy Governor Konstantin Gorobtsov, the press service of the Kaluga government reports.
“In connection with the heavy load that fell on the regional medical organizations these days, it was instructed to additionally allocate 10 cars and a driver’s staff from the regional administration’s fleet, which are daily in two shifts – from 8:00 to 17:00 Moscow time and from 17:00 until 23:00 Moscow time, they will assist doctors in servicing home calls to patients, “the press service said following the meeting.
The Kaluga city government should also join this work.
“Starting tomorrow, I ask you to assign vehicles to the ambulance hospital and form teams,” Gorobtsov instructed.
In the Kaluga region, there is a tense situation with an increase in the incidence of coronavirus, ARVI, rotavirus. The number of home calls for ambulance teams has increased.
