A father has built a classroom for a government primary school at a cost of Rs 11 lakh in memory of his son who died near Chatur in Virudhunagar district.
Arjuna hailed from Thombakulam near Chatur. His son was Ramgautham. Graduated and became a private IT in USA. He was working in the company. Ramgautham was swept away and died when he tried to save a friend who was trapped in the floods two years ago.
In this case, in memory of Ramgautham, his father Arjunan Chatur has built a classroom for Thombakulam Panchayat Union Government Primary School at a cost of Rs.11 lakhs. Its opening ceremony was held today. Chatur MLA Raghuraman presided over the event. District Collector V.P.Jayaseelan participated and presided and inaugurated the classroom building. In this event, education officers, school principals, Asians, students and general public also participated.
