Propagandist Grigory Azarenok, together with the deputy chairman of the republican public association “Belaya Rus” Andrei Basak, went to a meeting with students of the Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies. An ordinary “political minute” turned into a heated argument when students began to ask guests “uncomfortable questions”. The report about the meeting with the propagandist was published by the Lukashenko administration’s newspaper SB.

SB employee Elena Kozlovskaya at the very beginning of her material noted that one of the participants in the meeting, student Daria Saitova, was not interested in the news, she did not know the names of the speakers, and she came to Azarenka only to avoid going to a lecture on the subject.

“A mini-survey conducted by Andrei Basak at the beginning of the meeting testified that the position of many students was formed largely due to the“ Internet in the broadest sense of the word. There were only a few people in the 180-seat auditorium who watched TV, of which only two were news programs. The rest draw information “from the phone,” the author of the article noted.

At the very beginning of the meeting, Grigory told the students that the Internet was invented by the Pentagon in order to release “not cartoons or other entertainment, but weapons”, and then moved on to his favorite topic – “information warfare”.

“Yes, in fact, you don’t need to trust anyone, including you,” came from the audience. – And here, and there is solid propaganda!

“Then let’s deal with the targets. The state wants you to study quietly, work, create families and feel safe. And what do the opponents of the state want – democracy, “changes”? What do you want? – Azarenok said, without explaining what is wrong with democracy and change.

The conversation then turned to the conflict in Ukraine. As noted Elena Kozlovskaya“judging by the content of the questions,” many students consider the “Russian president” to be the instigator of the war.

– We have a Vice-Rector for Security at our university, why do we need him? – students have moved to the local level of the problem.

“Today Belarus is a front-line state,” the propagandist explained. “And now you have a person who is responsible for ensuring that everything is in order with you. This is bad? Or have you not read about the terrible cases of executions of children and teachers in the USA, Russia? You don’t want this to happen to you, do you?

Someone from the audience mentioned that “in our country they put you in jail for likes.”
