In order to inform the media anyway, the company simultaneously invited to a press conference. The group wants to carry out a test drilling near the Kalkalpen National Park. In addition to journalists, many citizens and environmentalists filled the room. Managing Director Paul Fink presented the project from his point of view and tried to make it palatable to the residents of Molln. The guests were not convinced, loud discussions broke out several times. Afterwards, the “ProNatur Steyrtal” initiative also invited to a discussion in order to examine the environmental aspects in more detail and to express doubts about Fink’s statements.
