For hundreds of young, motivated and ambitious project leaders who do not have the financial means to realize their ideas in Moulay Yacoub like other provinces of the Kingdom, the INDH, through its ARIEJ program, acts as a providential savior.

At the level of the commune of Aïn Chkef, several projects were able to see the light of day thanks to the direct support of the Initiative, which enabled many young people to carry out their projects thanks to both material support and support in upstream to ensure the sustainability of the company.

Jaâfar Moussaid, in his thirties, is a good example of the INDH’s life-saving interventions aimed at reducing the unemployment rate and addressing disparities in education.

Thanks to funding of 158,580 DH, including a contribution of 142,722 DH from the INDH, Mr. Moussaid was able to finance the acquisition of equipment for the establishment of a repair workshop for generators and electric motors in Aïn Chkef.

“The intervention of the INDH allowed me to benefit from a stable income and, above all, the possibility of considering further developing my business,” he told MAP.

A few streets from Mr. Moussaid’s workshop is the local service center of Fatima Zahra Srili, another self-entrepreneur who was able to realize her project thanks to the action of the INDH. His idea, which required a total budget of 99,900 DH, received funding of 89,910 DH from the Initiative.

“This is a dream come true for me,” she rejoiced at the MAP microphone, expressing her gratitude for the INDH executives who supported her throughout the creation of his project.

For the regional coordinator of the Moroccan Center for Studies and Research on Social Enterprise (CMERES), Ali Tazi, the Initiative plays a supporting role for project leaders to strengthen their skills in business management in order to to ensure the sustainability of their projects.

“This support consists in particular of training sessions as well as regular field visits in order to identify potential gaps and anticipate problems that could arise during the creation of projects,” he explained.

At the level of the province of Moulay Yaâcoub, the aid granted by the Initiative within the framework of the ARIEJ program during its Phase 3 was divided into two axes. The first, relating to support for entrepreneurship, benefited 100 projects for a total amount of more than 13.2 million dirhams.

As for the second axis of support for the social and solidarity economy, it concerned 14 projects for total funding of approximately 4.8 million dirhams.

In total, the provincial youth platform in Moulay Yaâcoub received no less than 2,384 young people, men and women, project leaders.
