In the late evening of August 13, the police were called to Hariduse Street in Narva, where a drunken man fired several shots from a firearm, hitting the windows of an apartment building.
When police patrols arrived at the scene, the man was holding a firearm in both hands and did not obey the orders of law enforcement officers. To prevent the escalation of events, in which the man would harm himself or others, the police used a stun gun on the man.
Doctors made sure that the man recovered from the electric shock, after which he was detained as a suspect in the crime.
