An avatar to find the most suitable clothes
Trying on underwear or jeans in the store can be tedious. To avoid this ordeal for customers, the company Fit:Match offers to create their avatar. A phone is enough to reproduce the morphology of an individual in 3D. Fit:Match then compares the measurements of the avatar with the models offered in the catalog, to recommend the most suitable underwear or jeans (two types of clothing where it is particularly difficult to find your size). Macy’s is currently testing this technology in some of its lingerie departments.
