Discovering new talents in the field of poetry. This is the purpose of the Librintesta aps cultural association and of the Presidium of the Noci book which indicate and organize the literary prize for poetry Poetic readings for unpublished works in Italian. Poetry is the art technically within everyone’s reach: just a sheet of paper and a pencil and that’s it, that’s how the great Eugenio Montale expressed himself. The award aims, in this first edition, to discover new Apulian authors who love poetry and delight in composing poetic texts.
The rules of participation
The competition includes two types of participation: section A reserved for Apulian authors who are at least 18 years old. Each participant can send up to three unpublished poems in Italian. In particular, 2 free-themed poems, another poem in verse on the theme: Homo Sapiens. In the first selection, 10 poets will be admitted. In the second selection the jury will choose 5 poems. On the day of the award ceremony, 3 winners will be awarded. In the second section, B, texts in Italian by young Nocesi authors aged between 14 and 18 are admitted. Each participant can send an unpublished poem in Italian. In particular, a poem on the theme: man of our time. In the first selection, 20 very young poets from Nocesi will be admitted. In the second selection, the jury will choose 5 poems in verse. On the day of the award ceremony, 3 winners will be awarded.
