Inflation since the beginning of the year (November 2023 compared to December 2022) is 4.4%, and
average annual inflation for the period December 2022 – November 2023 compared to the period December
2021 – November 2022 is 10.5%.

Cucumbers have risen in price the most

In November 2023, the prices of goods and services increased the most in: housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels – by 1.4%; entertainment and culture – with 1.4%; restaurants and hotels – with 0.7% and others.

The prices of goods and services are lower for: clothing and shoes – a decrease of 0.9%; transport – decrease by 0.6%; home furnishings, goods and services for the household and for the usual maintenance of the home – a decrease of 0.2%.

During the month, the prices of cucumbers increased – by 27.7%, ripe garlic – by 5.5%, tomatoes – by 3.7%, olives – by 3.5%, tea – by 2.8%, eggs – by 2.4%, bread “Dobrudja” by 1.6 % and other.

Cabbage prices decreased – by 20.9%, root vegetables (carrots and beetroot) – by 6.5%, leafy vegetables – by 3.5%, potatoes – by 3.0%, green onions, garlic and leeks – by 2.5%, cheese – by 1.9% and others.

In the groups of non-food goods and services, an increase in prices was registered at
central gas supply – by 22.1%, international flights – by 18.6%, methane for LTS – by 11.9%,
thermal energy for heating – by 10.1%, pellets – by 4.4%, package services for holidays and
tourist trips in the country – by 2.8%, postal services (courier services) – by 2.0%, wood for
heating – by 1.8%, courses for LTS drivers – by 1.7%, propane-butane gas for LTS – by 1.5% and others.

A decrease was registered in the prices of A95H gasoline – by 2.5%, vacuum cleaners – by 2.3%, diesel fuel – by 2.1%, automobile gasoline A100H – by 1.7%, televisions – by 1.6% and others.
