The sewage projects completed by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities in some governorates have achieved advanced completion rates.

The (INA) reviews, according to the report prepared by the ministry, the sewage projects in some governorates. According to the report, the completion rates in the sewage projects in Basra Governorate: The Hamdan Treatment Plant Project, Phase IV, with a design capacity of (150) thousand m3 per day, achieved a completion rate of (80.9%), while the Hamdan Treatment Plant Project, Phase V, with a design capacity of (150) thousand m3 per day, achieved a completion rate of (65.3%).
In Najaf Governorate, the most prominent projects are the Najaf City Treatment Plant Project, Phase II, with a capacity of (100) thousand m3 per day, with a completion rate of (94%). As for the Hindiya District Treatment Plant Project in Karbala Governorate, with a capacity of (25) thousand m3 per day, the completion rate has reached (97.2%), while the completion rate in the Al-Hur District Sewerage Project has reached (100%). In Wasit Governorate, the Al-Suwaira District Sewerage Networks Project, with a capacity of (31) m3 per day, has achieved a completion rate of (100%). As for the Al-Hay District Sewerage Networks Project, with a capacity of (32) thousand m3 per day, it has achieved a completion rate of (100%). In Diwaniyah Governorate, the Greater Diwaniyah Sewerage Project, with a capacity of (100) thousand m3 per day, has achieved a completion rate of (81.7%). As for the Ghammas Sewerage Project, with a capacity of (19) thousand m3 per day, it has achieved a completion rate of (35%). In Dhi Qar Governorate, the Al-Rifai District Treatment Plant Project, with a capacity of (60) thousand m3 per day, has achieved a completion rate of (100%). (95.6%), while the Shatrah District Sewerage Networks Project with a capacity of (64) thousand m3 per day achieved a completion rate of (71%), and the Al-Jazeera Al-Shamiya Treatment Plant Project with a capacity of (135) thousand m3 per day achieved a completion rate of (78%).
In Anbar Governorate, the completion rate of the Ramadi sewage project with a capacity of (100) thousand m3 per day reached (100%), while the Fallujah sewage project with a capacity of (35) thousand m3 per day reached (85%), while the completion rate of the rehabilitation project of four treatment units with a capacity of (40) thousand m3 per day reached (100%), in addition to the Heet district sewage project with a capacity of (22) thousand m3 per day, the completion rate reached (89.5%).
In Nineveh Governorate, the Hamdaniya sewage project with a design capacity of (14) thousand m3 per day achieved a complete completion rate of (100%), while the Bartella sewage project with a design capacity of (4942) m3 per day achieved a completion rate of (92.7%), while the completion rate of the Mosul left side treatment plant project, phase one, with a capacity of (100) thousand m3 per day, reached (93%). The Mosul left side treatment plant project, phase two, with a capacity of (100) thousand m3 per day, achieved a completion rate of (95%). As for the Mosul right side treatment plant project, with a capacity of (100) thousand m3 per day, the completion rate reached (59%), and the Mosul right side treatment plant project, phase two, with a capacity of (100) thousand m3 per day, the completion rate reached (68%).
The report indicated that the Kirkuk Unified Sewerage Project in Kirkuk Governorate with a design capacity of (325) thousand m3 has achieved a completion rate of (81.5%), while in Salah al-Din Governorate, the Balad City Treatment Plant Project with a design capacity of (22) thousand m3 per day has achieved a completion rate of (77.8%), while the Dabai Treatment Plant Project in Tikrit City with a capacity of (36) thousand m3 per day has achieved completion rates of (44%). As for the Samarra Sewerage Project with a capacity of (56) thousand m3 per day, it has achieved completion rates of (85%), while the completion rates in the Siniya District Sewerage Project with a capacity of (20) thousand m3 have reached (2.75%).
The report explained that the Khalis District Sewerage Project in Diyala Governorate, with a design capacity of (22) thousand m3, has reached a completion rate of (37.1%), while the Baqubah City Sewerage Project, Phase Two, with a capacity of (56) thousand m3 per day, has reached a completion rate of (28.2%).
