“In one Metro”: “Rich” G/G in PAO

by time news

You name it…easy the duo that passed Tuesday/Wednesday (City 2+gg together with Paris 1+under), in general I think that the Champions League was predictable in its resumption. They won three of the four favourites, the outsider who got the victory was Lazio, it wasn’t so much a bomb because we all knew that Bayern is not well and it was coming from the treble with Leverkusen.

In terms of goals, here again three out of four were predictable and the expected happened. In City we had 2+gg, in Paris we had 1+under. And in Rome we also had no goals. As for Leipzig-Real? The double came but not with the goals. And that was probably a bigger banana peel than Bayern.

As for Thursday’s matches? They had two sides, it rained goals early, dry late. Anyway, I think it was a normal European three days but the best happened on the Island, there was an improbable goal in the Rotherham-Hull match (with a kick from Hull Philogen) and we also had an improbable score, in Mansfield-Harrogate, an awesome 9-2! Next week we have European matches again, four more matches in the Champions League, but for now let’s go to the new coupon, initially – and as always – in England.

The Premier League has a big match, City-Chelsea, although for some years now the tilt has been noticeably in favor of City. In my eyes, I don’t see a “clear” point in this competition. Besides we have Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, City, all at 1.55.

And Newcastle United as 1.80. What shall we play; What we can do, however, is to bet on “rich” combos. In the last three matches of the Premier League we have 8 out of 10 matches with g/g, again 8 out of 10 and now a week ago 7 out of 10 came g/g (and no draw at all). Check out the pairings now.

Early today Brentford-Liverpool let’s say, know that Brentford is first in the five “big” Leagues to lose while scoring first! He already has six lead/loss. This is a good fun bet of 6.50. And 2+gg pays 2.75. In Newcastle-Bournemouth, with Newcastle eating goals like carobs but also scoring easily (4-4 with Luton, 3-2 with Nottingham), 1+gg is also nice and takes us to 3.00. In City-Chelsea, 1+gg makes us 2.60 and in Luton-Manchester United 2+g/g takes us to 3.20. I don’t touch Arsenal and Tottenham, because one might not score a goal from Burnley and the other might not win (the excellent Wolves).

This with the Premier League, in the Championship…barely one point, Huttersfield. She remains with a service technician but with him she has got the upper hand, two wins in the last three with Worthington (who is a club boy and gels and I don’t rule out that he will be permanent). In the 1st division of England I also don’t have anything good, if in the Championship I keep one, here I keep none. Let’s just say that Port Vale have got Darren Moore (recently sacked from Huttersfield we were talking about) as their manager and are going to play in Cheltenham against their old manager, Darrell Clarke!

In the 2nd place, there is a bit of “bread”, I also keep Doncaster (unbeaten in three matches, no win in 2024 for Grisby), I also keep Morecambe (huge 5th for a team in form, yesterday they won with a goal in the 95′, they are equal with Wimbledon), I also keep Forest Green which – finally – with Steve Cotterill, third coach this year on the bench, is showing life. It’s a big double at Barrow and Crawley is flying eagle in the last. Let’s close with the Island holding the field, it has made a great counterattack, at some point it was last and now it is 4-1-0 in the last five matches! 2.90 is fair because Barnet is a good team (and high) but completely deformed and with a losing streak away from home.

Across the English Channel, initially in Greece…Lamia is itching a bit. And he’s doing well, he’s scoring and he’s aiming for the 6th. And Panathinaikos is between the cup matches with PAOK and I do not rule out a rotation from Terim. I’ll wait to see 11ada, for now I’m keeping the rich g/g of 2.10. Olympiacos eats me too. Debut for Mendiliber with a victory over Ferencvaros (without any balls but doing the basics right), PAOK on the other hand seems to be “gasping”, draw with AEK, defeat with PAO, maybe a third, as if I see signs of deformation and the rematch of the cup at Leoforo. Big 4th at Olympiakos.

From there, I get Iverdon in Switzerland (completely wrong performance against the tragic Lausanne), I get Boavista in Portugal (similar case, the bookies “premium” Chavez’s motivation but it still sucks), and watching the pair of Napoli-Barcelona next Tuesday makes me want to play against them both now! None of them are good, Genoa and Thelta can, Thelta even has an excellent domestic tradition, only in 2020 they lost to Barca. From the Primera, I also keep Sevilla, who I see is picking up speed, in Spain’s second base we play Sadater, in France Lorient is a treacherous spot (second win in a row, I saw it against Reims and it is picking up speed) and finally in Germany, the penultimate Mainz he may have got (another) new coach, but..miracles don’t happen in a day. They remain a bad team and Augsburg pay well. That’s it, we’re done.
