/ The Iraqi national team has stepped up its preparations by intensifying its training doses in preparation for facing the Indonesian national team in the first leg of its journey in the Asian Cup finals.

The Iraqi national team held a training session this evening, Friday, in the Qatari capital, Doha, in the training centers affiliated with Al-Gharafa Sports Club, in which all players participated, with less training intensity for player Saad Natiq, who will most likely enter training tomorrow, Saturday, in full, alongside his teammates.

The training was attended by the First Vice President of the Iraqi Football Association, Ali Jabbar, and the Executive Office member of the Association, Yahya Zaghir. The former international player, Wameedh Munir, was also present on the sidelines of the training to support the players of the Iraqi national team.

In a related context, the Iraqi national team player Amjad Atwan provided support to his teammates by being present at today’s training, wishing them success in the Asian journey. He will be supporting them from the stands in the first match against the Indonesian national team, amidst the players’ and the technical staff’s warm welcome and happiness at his presence with them closely in this anticipated Asian event.

It is hoped that the national team will intensify its training tomorrow, Saturday, by holding an evening training session at 6:00 PM, which will be open to various media outlets for the first 15 minutes only.
