Within the framework of the intensive preparations being made by the National Elections Commission in preparation for the launch of the municipal council elections, today, Sunday, the Department of Candidates and Political Parties organized a special training course for candidate registration employees in electoral offices, aiming to prepare the employees for the candidate registration process expected during the coming period.
The training course was held at the headquarters of the Commission’s media center, and focused on a number of important topics. Training was given on the procedures and steps necessary to register individual candidates and electoral lists, in addition to dealing with the forms and documents required for this process.
The course also included practical training on how to use the electronic candidate system, which allows employees to register candidates and issue various reports related to the electoral process, in addition to introducing them to the electronic interface designated for verifying recommendation lists.
This course targeted candidate registration officers in the electoral offices whose municipalities are targeted for election within the second group for the 2025 municipal council elections.
