In the Russian city of Mirny, a teenager inflicted many wounds with a cleaver on a native of Kyrgyzstan, Ulanbek Arstanov, who stood up for his son. Information about this was confirmed by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia.

Earlier, one of the Russian media reported that the incident occurred on April 24. According to journalists, initially the conflict began between teenagers.

“One of the boys was beaten by the company, the son of the victim named Ayastan, also a teenager, stood up for him. Later, two offenders tracked down Ayastan and began to beat him at the doorstep of the house, ”the newspaper wrote.

Then Ayastan’s parents saw the fight. At the time of the attack on Ayastan, his father Ulanbek was sleeping, so he ran out with a naked torso.

“Ulanbek caught up with two teenagers. But they took out edged weapons – one of them cut Ulanbek’s shoulders and leg, and the other cut his stomach with a cleaver. According to Ayastan, no one helped his father, all the people passed by, although he called for help, ”the publication wrote.

Ulanbek was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and is now in intensive care. One of the attackers, a 17-year-old student at a local medical college, was detained.

The Embassy reported that a criminal case had been initiated.

“Representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora “Dostuk” met with the heads of local authorized bodies, including the investigative service. The injured compatriot is a citizen of Russia. His health condition is improving,” the diplomatic mission noted.
