The information about the attempted poisoning was published by a Russian telegram channel, which is affiliated with the opposition in the country and which according to various reports is run by a former representative in the Kremlin. According to the report, Petrush was exposed to synthetic poison but survived.
Petrush is said to be considered by Putin today and one of those closest to the Russian president, who even replaces him for short periods of time when he is in need of medical treatment. His son, Dimitri is the Minister of Agriculture in the country.
