Three criminal cases

Three criminal cases were brought against the politician: spreading fake news about the Russian army, treason and working in the “undesirable organization” – Open Russia society.

According to the version of the investigation, Kara-Murza, who spoke in the House of Representatives of the state of Arizona on March 15, 2022, “deliberately spread untrue information with the motive of political hatred.”

In that speech, it was also about Russia’s bombing of residential areas and civilian infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.

Charges of treason and “working with an undesirable organization” were brought against Kara-Murza while he was already in prison.

It was reported that 41-year-old Kara-Murza was on the verge of death twice after the poisoning attack.
