In Russia, they decided to refuse this year the presentation of TEFI

Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoi said that this year it was decided not to hold the TEFI National Television Award ceremony. Earlier, he said that the event, scheduled for May-June, was postponed until the end of the special operation in Ukraine.

“It seems to me that this is highly inappropriate,” Shvydkoy said. He explained that there is always an atmosphere of increased joy at TEFI, but this kind of festive event is inappropriate today.

At the same time, Shvydkoy noted that in St. Petersburg at the end of November, the TEFI-Region awards will be presented in three stages.
