On December 21, the Ministry of Health announced that the Kovid vaccine would be given to children of this age and at high risk. The second phase of vaccination for them started yesterday. After that, the ministry announced that it would now start vaccinating all children of this age. The ministry also advised pregnant women to take booster doses immediately as there is a risk of serious side effects due to Kovid infection. The ministry said that studies have shown that booster doses are safe for pregnant women and that it may protect pregnant women and their unborn babies from complications of Kovid.
