A bloody weekend: Seven people were killed within two days in a number of violent incidents across the country – Kiryat Ata, Ramat Gan, Nahaf, Kafr Qara, and the Mishmar HaEmakim junction. Following this, tonight (Saturday) the Coast District Police decided to launch a large-scale enforcement operation in an attempt to prevent the next incident.

The decision on the operation comes as stated on only the further increase in violence. About five days ago, the body of Sapir Nahum, who had been missing for 12 days, was found. The detention of Walla Khalaila, her ex-partner, was extended after suspicions against him worsened from involvement in her disappearance to her abduction and murder. On Thursday, the bodies of 21-year-old Mahmoud and 15-year-old Ali, members of the Fahuri family from the city of Nazareth, were found lifeless in a car near Kiryat Tivon, with gunshot wounds to their bodies.

Preliminary investigation indicates that they apparently fell victim to the “Little Red Riding Hood” exercise, were invited to present a vehicle for sale as part of helping their father with wages in vehicles. During the trip they were asked to stand to the side to present the vehicle to the buyer or buyers and then opened fire at them with dozens of bullets, in which they were found dead.

“They were friends like brothers, all day together, I have known them personally personally since they were born,” their uncle, Abu Hussein Fakhuri, told Walla !. “Apparently they went out and what happened happened. We do not know anything yet. The police have not updated us on anything yet. We are sitting at home waiting for the bodies so we can bury them with dignity,” he added.

On Tuesday, a 24-year-old man was killed in a violent incident that took place on Burglars Street in Ashkelon. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was murdered after an argument that took place with the suspect who fled the scene. Its details are known and extensive scans and operations are being conducted to locate it. That same day, a 37-year-old man was shot dead in Kafr Qara.

Last night, a young man in his 20s was shot dead in the Galilee village of Nahaf. At the same time, a 42-year-old man known to the police was shot dead on Hefetz Haim Street in Kiryat Ata. Medical teams evacuated him in critical condition to Rambam Hospital, where doctors were forced to determine his death. In addition, a 25-year-old man was seriously injured in a violent incident in the Negev.

This morning, a 60-year-old man was shot dead in Ramat Gan. MDA teams who arrived at the scene were forced to determine his death after showing no signs of life. Police announced that they had arrested a suspect in an act located at the scene. Evidence shows that the victim’s home and her husband are in divorce proceedings.

The two, residents of Kiryat Ono whose marriage has run aground. As part of the divorce proceedings, the young woman left their joint home and moved to live with her parents in Ramat Gan. This morning, her father-in-law, her husband’s father, arrived at his parents’ house separately, and while arguing with her father, he fired at him from a short distance to death.

The investigation also revealed that the gun with which the murder was committed is not registered in the name of the suspect and at this stage it is not clear whether he has a license to carry a weapon. The police are investigating the source of the gun and how the suspect arrived, since in light of the fact that the suspect arrived at the scene with a gun, it was a premeditated murder.

Four days later, a 54-year-old man allegedly stabbed his wife, 51-year-old Samar Kalasani, and fatally wounded her, after which he apparently stabbed himself and was seriously injured. The two were evacuated to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, where the woman’s death was determined.

A few days later, a 30-year-old man from Jaljulia was shot to death near a construction site in Shoham and collapsed when he left it. It is clear that the shooting did not take place at the site where the body was found, but workers at the site told police that they heard the sounds of the shooting, so they also noticed the victim when he stopped outside the site.
