Time.news – A South African woman gave birth to 10 babies, setting a possible new world record already under consideration by the Guinness Book of Records. Gosiame Thamara Sithole, 37, and her husband were further surprised at the time of delivery: during pregnancy, ultrasound scans had identified eight fetuses, which are actually 10.
“They are seven boys and three girls. I’m happy, excited …. I can’t talk much, ”his father, Teboho Tsotetsi, commented to Pretoria News. A source close to the family cited by the BBC specified that five of the children were born with natural birth and the other five with caesarean section.
The couple, who already have six-year-old twins, stated that these other 10 children were naturally conceived.
