According to the organization, 6.7 million people do not eat enough food, 5.3 million people do not have three meals a day, and $63 million is needed to save people from immediate death.

Statistics show that three-fifths of Sri Lanka’s population has halved their household income. It has been reported that if the farmers do not get seeds, fertilizer and financial support, the planting work will decrease by 50 percent in the coming season.
