A criminal case was initiated against a doctor and nurses of one of the medical institutions in St. Petersburg for accepting a bribe. According to the investigation, doctors received at least 100,000 rubles from 12 citizens. for entering fictitious data on vaccination against COVID-19 and issuing certificates. The issue of bringing charges and choosing a preventive measure is being resolved.
The fictitious vaccination was reported by the Investigative Committee of St. Petersburg and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Now investigators and police officers are checking information about the participation of doctors in similar episodes and identifying their accomplices.
The police said that doctors were detained in a medical facility on Lev Tolstoy Street on October 21.
“After the execution of the fictitious vaccination, the unused drug was destroyed, after which all the necessary documents for the patients were filled out. At the same time, information about vaccination, as it should be, was reflected in the electronic service “Gosuslugi”, – said in the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to Part 1 of Art. 327 of the Criminal Code for falsification of documents faces up to two years in prison.
