On September 28, political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Estonia took place in Tallinn. The Armenian delegation was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan, the Estonian delegation was represented by Kilike Silaste-Eling, Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs of the Foreign Ministry, the RA Foreign Ministry informs.

The Armenian delegation was represented by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Paruyr Hovhannisyan, the Estonian delegation was represented by Kilike Silaste-Eling, Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs of the Foreign Ministry. During the consultations, reference was made to a wide range of Armenian-Estonian bilateral cooperation. Possibilities of expanding cooperation in various fields were discussed.
Paruyr Hovhannisyan presented to the interlocutor the situation created as a result of the large-scale military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan on September 19 and the massive forced displacement of the people of Nagorno Karabakh. The importance of international equivalent assessment in overcoming humanitarian challenges was emphasized. The deputy minister emphasized the imperative of curbing ambitions towards RA’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, stressing the importance of deploying the EU observation mission in that context.
