In the Rostov region, classes in schools and kindergartens have been canceled on the territory of several areas bordering the Donbass. In some educational institutions, classes are held remotely.
According to the press service of the governor of the region, one school and one kindergarten were closed in the Millerovsky district, four schools and four kindergartens in the Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky district, five schools and five kindergartens in the Tarasovsky district, and one school in the Kamensky district. Most of all schools and kindergartens were closed in the border Chertkovsky district – 24 schools and 23 kindergartens.
Educational institutions are closed until further notice.
However, in the Rostov region, the registration of children and adolescents evacuated from the LPR and DPR to educational organizations continues. There are 3,383 children in temporary accommodation centers, of which 1,063 are preschoolers.
“For each family with children, the routing for enrollment in preschool, general educational organizations has been determined. The issue of providing school supplies and textbooks has been worked out,” the press service said.
